Testimonial of Class Teacher
WhenI first entered the homeroom of Std. 12 – i found the room lacking in cheer. Sowe decided to go for a major makeover of the class. First , we put our headstogether to decide what we should put on the Noticeboard that serves usas a reminder of our goals, the ways to reach those goals and of course alittle bit of humour and creativity.
So we decided on the following things to be put on thenotice board:
On the door of the class wehave the slogan ‘Entrepreneurs at work’ followed by names of eachstudent on the class door.
Individual scoreboard of the students – each student was motivated to prepare a uniquely designed scoredboard. After undertaking the SWOT analysis, each student identified the target they would like to achieve in each subject and put the actual marks received in Unit Tests to find out the variation. Scoreboards also served as a reminder for the number of days they have remained absent. A sad face (oops I missed the school today) appears on the scoreboard of the student for number of days they have remained absent. There is a scope for getting a happy face from the Class teacher as well if they have done something out of ordinary.
As a class teacher, I have decided to put even Scoreboard for Class Teacher in the class where I have written down my expectations from the students and they are to evaluate me every month as a class teacher, as a subject teacher and my alignment with the class and school WIGs. I too will get happy and sad faces from students for compliance or violation of the rules.

We created a ‘Creative Corner’ wherein all the AMUL advertisements depicting the latest happenings around the country in the past one year have been displayed. What a great way to update the knowledge of students!!!!
‘Career Corner’ and ‘News’ section updated the student knowledge about the various career options available to the students after Std. 12 and the top institutions providing different courses. News section helped students keep up with the latest happenings in the world of business.
One part our Notice Board was occupied by ‘Business Cartoons’. There are so many business jargons used in those cartoons. It got students interested in knowing more about management principles.
The most enjoyable and fun part of the Noticeboard was Photo Gallery portion, where all the students had put up their baby pictures. Since Std. 12 is the last year in the school, the childhood pictures acted as a reminder of their initial journey. Students had a great time sharing their childhood pics with one another
