Publishing &Web Department.

Philosophy

Theaim of the publishing and web department will be continuously to improve thequality and effectiveness of our school web site and its information. Theendeavor is to deliver great experiences not only for the website visitors butalso for its contributors i.e. the SNKian community (students, teachers &parents).The primary focus remains to provide information to all its visitors.

Thereis always something happening at TGES that the entire community should knowabout and learn from and we work towards that end.

Everyonehas to be encouraged to use the website and participate and take initiative toget it going. We will find/create, organize (filter and catalogue) andshare the information that will help making the website an outstandingexperience. We endeavor to take advantage of our organization’s mostvaluable asset — the collective expertise of its teachers and students.

The department’s task will be of soliciting good practices,indexing and cataloguing new information as it comes in, and serving to uploadit.

Theattempt will be to provide an accessible vehicle for getting thestudent-parent-teacher community talking to and about itself through a processof capturing and sharing information and fostering open candid communication.

Themost mammoth task of the department this year will be to present theinformation and material in the website in such a way that navigation isfacilitated and the content is presented in a structured and organized manner.

Weaim to be open, constantly learning and redefining our skills and strategy,adapting and evolving along the way, so as to effectively project TGES for whatit truly is ---outstanding!!
