THE ADVANCED PLACEMENT PROGRAM® (AP®)
The AP Program offers college-level courses and exams you can take in high school. With qualifying AP Exam scores, students can earn credit and/or advanced placement or both.
- College Board’s Advanced Placement Program is recognized by universities around the world as a standard of academic excellence.
- Launched in 1955, originally designed as a means for students in the U.S. to earn college credit and/or advanced placement for learning university-level material while in secondary school. Today, secondary students worldwide can complete university-level coursework in 40 subjects and demonstrate proficiency by taking standardized end-of-course AP Exams.

Nearly all colleges and universities in the United States and more than 4000 universities in 100 countries, (such as the U.K., Canada, Singapore, the Middle East, etc.), consider AP participation favourably for admission and have policies around AP credit and placement.
AP Exams are administered once every year during the first two weeks of May.
Students are strongly encouraged to register during the first window, between September and November (prior to the testing year), to ensure they have ample time to prepare.

SAT Program
The Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT®)
The SAT is a standardized test widely used for college admissions across the world. The SAT is wholly owned, developed, and published by the College Board, a private, not-for-profit organization in the United States. The test is intended to assess students’ readiness for college.

Global Passport
The SAT is globally recognized and widely accepted by universities in the United States and almost 70 countries worldwide, including India.
Put Achievements in Context
Wide variations in curricular standards, grading systems, and course offerings make the SAT critical in contextualizing the achievement of international students.
Strengthen University Applications
Universities review academic accomplishments to ensure that a student is academically ready for study and graduation from their university. The SAT can help students stand out in the application process, including to universities that are test optional.
If a student is studying at a school/country where English is not the primary language of instruction, university admission officers may use the SAT to confirm that a student can complete their degree in English.
